A soft cloud of green has appeared on the Navajo willows. That is one of my very favorite colors.

Owen loves it when Daddy picks him up from school and they race across the playground to the car. Today, I “hid” behind the bike rack and caught them running.

I got my Memolio in the mail today. It’s a pocket size collection of all the best photos from 2009- printed in beautiful color on almost indestructible plastic. I think it’s beautiful and it came all the way from the Netherlands which is cool!

I’ve been collecting these vintage aluminum cookware pieces. I love their PATINA… and Mitch likes it when I say that word. Hey, baby… patina.

The saddest day of the year. We had to put Mitty to sleep- after 19 years of life. Farewell to the best cat I’ve ever had. Love you, buddy.

Here’s something I read about Mia’s name today.
In Denmark- (around 1940) a school headmaster was called Heis, the Ancient Greek word for the number one, so his wife was Mia, the feminine form of the same Greek word.
MIA= Number One! (but we already knew that!)
